Colorado poem

Written while sitting in the backyard of The Conrads house.

                                                         God, you are far more

         satisfying than the greatest breeze

that skims my face.

God, you are far more delighting

                                               then the mountain landscape ahead.

   God, all creation will freeze

at the coming of your reign.

   God, all sons, and daughters

will taste your foundation of

  living waters.

God, whose signature is written on red leaves

                                                              hanging from these trees.

God, who carries down the falling leaves

with the palm of His Hand.

God, who hanged from a tree and fell for me.

God, who sang, "anyone who believes in me will be set free"
